The SI Vibe ~ a History… and a Peek!
I am thrilled to be writing this post today – it is a new chapter in my journey with SIS, and the beginning of so many cool plans and visions to come. The purest mission I maintain here is strictly this: Be different and original. It used to really bother me that my crafting style never quite “fit” with what everyone else was doing. I chose different colors, I laid things out unlike the crowd… little things like that. Whenever I would try to make something really elegant or pretty – it never looked right. Forced might be a good way to describe it. And I had a love/hate relationship with my blog – loved the community, hated sharing what I believed to be completely crappy projects! (I know you know what I’m saying!) Then I realized something so obvious ~ I am not LIKE everyone else! And neither are you! So I decided to accept my quirks and roll on. And that is where the SI vibe was born. I don’t do much of the artwork for SI, but I sure do put my artists through the ringer! I am the first to admit, I don’t troll the web all that much – I really do not have a great grasp of what is out there and available. What I DO know, is what I want to play with, and what I cannot find.
StampInsanity characters are designed by me, specifically to be different – I change things if I feel they look too similar to something I have seen. We, as GroovyGurlz, take our originality very seriously here, and we collectively want you to use these challenges to step out and try something different in your crafting! I can tell you from experience, it doesn’t always work out that well… but it always leads to something better!! We will challenge you uniquely – and cannot wait to be inspired by you in turn! Even if you do not participate, I believe you will enjoy seeing the little ‘twists’ we add to the normal. We look forward to cultivating friendships here that transcend and enrich. This is going to be a great place to be! Mission statement complete.
PS ~ This is Nicholette… You can meet her and her friends tomorrow!

Wow I fit into this write up to a T! I don’t always fit that girly girl image that everyone has set for the female gender, so it’s nice to have a company and images that fit the ‘different’ folks lol I can’t wait to post my card using one of the new releases tomorrow!!
