Happy Weekend!

Did you survive the week?  This weekend marked our first snow of the season!  It was a little strange - we generally don't get much here in Maryland, and certainly not this early!  I love it, of course.  Sitting by the glow of the Christmas tree, sipping some beaucoup-calories-in-a-cup Egg Nog, watching some football - writing a blog post... yeah, that kinda messes with the serenity of the scene, doesn't it?  Don't fret for me, though, I will return to my egg nog, post haste!

holiday2I wanted to share this card I made - this was the other Morgan I colored when I was hanging with Julie and Tonya in Austin on New Moon Weekend.  If you follow Alyssa (www.critterlyss.blogspot.com), you will see where this inspiration came from - she is all about rocking the blues.  The hue, not the emotion, of course!   I decided that Morgan wouldn't be tied down to traditional red holiday-wear.  In fact, her next ensemble will be... can't tell you.  Gah!!  You won't have to wait too long - I am almost done with it.  It is cool, though- if I do say so myself.  :)

I love this sentiment, but as you can see, my skills with the camera and then the PhotoShop are not all that just yet... it reads: "Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul; Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal."  I just love that!!    The papers are BoBunny, natch, and the stamps are from the SI set Morgan's Star.  I also used Copic Spicas, and Spellbinders Nesties.  And my favorite 1" Chocolate Chip double-stiiched ribbon from SU.

For more information on the Copics, Spicas, Nesties and that delish BoBunny paper, visit www.StampHappens.com/shop.  You'll find the lowest prices and the greatest store-owner behind the scenes over there!

PS - Sorry about my lack of linkage... I did the *oooh* Win7 upgrade, and it appears the ability to hyperlink here went bye-bye.  What a bum-bummer.  Gah!  Hopefully next time I will be able to leave the nice linkies for you!

Until then ~ Have a great weekend!
