Twilight Tuesday ~ It’s New Moon Week!

Can you freaking believe it! I can’t – it is almost surreal to wait for this flick for SO long, to have it almost HERE! Ugh! Well, let’s get right down to it… I will paraphrase, but for all pertinent details, visit TT.com! It has been a long time since I have been able to participate, so this is extra exciting for me!

Craft Portion: In short – this is the lovely Eve’s week to issue the week #55 challenge, and she picked a color scheme! Monochrome – my favorite!

Comment Portion: of today’s challenge, please share your New Moon viewing plans! Are you going with your spouse, kids, friends…when? Let’s hear your excitement! …Away we go!

For my card, I used my OtherWorldly Loves (StampInsanity Stamps, of course!), and the wolf image from Artful Inkables. And that GooBKin technique. Hmmm… what does New Moon mean to me? Well, duh… WEREWOLVES, silly! And JACOB BLACK! I have been over the reasons I love the character: his undying loyalty, his personality, his friendship ~ he is just a fabulous person! I love him. His only flaw? He is 15. He acts it sometimes. But then, that is the beautiful thing about BEING 15, you get to screw up – but at his core, he is a truly good kid. He is exactly what Bella needs, when she needs it. Who can possibly ask for more than that? If the story flashed forward, Freaky-baby imprinting aside, he would be a great man! *sigh* (…don’t get me started on Renesmee!) Anyway, I cannot WAIT to see this played out on film!!

And to see this on film, I am going back to the Great State of Texas, y’all! How I MISS that place! And a couple of groovy girls… some Quileute werewolves, and some NEW MOON! Smells like a perfect weekend!

I’m betting that a lot of you have big plans; I know I do! But here’s the thing, we at TTIC don’t want to just hear about your experience with the movie, we want to see it!!!

So pack up your camera and TAKE PHOTOS of your New Moon experience! Pics while you’re waiting in line, of you and your Twi-friends, and even the afterglow of seeing all your fave Twi-boys!

Then, pull out your die cut machines, your snazzy embellishments and make a layout! Journal about your night out! Show us those awesome photos! Scrap your movie tickets! Let’s all get scrappin’!!!

This challenge will be due on December 1st, so for those of you that aren’t going to see the flick opening night, you’ve still got some time to play along with us!”

TTIC is taking a Thanksgiving holiday next Tuesday but Alison, Margie, and Tonya will share some special projects to help inspire you to create your own scrappy experience of New Moon!

This is a beautiful card! I love all the browns and that gorgeous picture of Taylor. Drool! Love the combo of man and wolf, very Jacoby! I can’t believe the wait is almost over too!

AMAZING! Love everything about this…except that it’s not Edward – well my version of Edward, that is. I’m not like all the other girls – I think Hollywood’s version of Edward looks like he got hit in the face with the backside of a shovel. BUT that’s a conversation for another time… ;o)
